Misleading List: Actually Covers 434-477MHz

Please update the list. The product clearly states 434-477MHz, not 410-490MHz as stated in the listing. I thought it would cover the entire 70cm amateur range but it doesn't. Buyer Warning.

A real surprise for antennas

Didn't expect a crystal clear Tx/Rx when ordering but wanted a tuned antenna. The person doing it matters! Small, crisp and works fantastic on 400s. Also works well in 800s, unlike their tuned 800s.

Amazing antenna for GMRS

Small but sturdy, takes a repeater up to 33 miles. The signal is clear. My girlfriend laughed at me when I received it, she said it needs planting and watering. lol it's a 1/4 wave antenna with a center frequency of 70cm at 462k so great GMRS antenna. Takes 50W like a champ πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

not what is stated: Radio antennas

Well I should have listened to all the reviews, the website clearly says 410-490MHz when I received it today on the box, on the it said 433-477 mhz is not good for me, i just wish i followed my instinct. Should have listened to the reviews. It's bad anyway, if you're looking for a UHF antenna for 70cm or 420, don't waste your money, it's nothing to lick These I knew better

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Great Little Power House

I bought this to put on the roof of my truck so I can chop down trees, wash cars and drive around places with food. I'm tired of constantly shooting a long antenna 5/8 instead of 5/8. So far for a week range test this is a speaker! I can easily hit repeaters 60-70 miles away, club feedback is loud and clear. I think my RX reception has dropped a little at long range or in hilly areas and also downtown around large buildings but that's to be expected with zero gain and size. That's great value…

Update: Not too bad but needs more boost. Using this in my glove box as a dust collector right now lol. We used Bingfu's magnetic mount antenna which was phenomenal on RX/TX. After using it for a while it doesn't really deliver the signal I wanted. I was able to find a similar NMO to the magnetic mount I mentioned, so it hasn't been installed yet. However, there is no difference between this antenna and the Midland Ghost antenna. So if you are thinking about buying one of the can antennas I…
