Transcend Speed Flash Memory TS8GSDU1 Review

Just the right container for sending our children's digital photos to Grandma. She likes to see different pictures of her grandchildren.

I needed a medium to share some data with a friend but I only had high capacity SD cards so I bought them because they were big enough and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

This is the perfect memory card for my Zoom H4n recorder. The loading time is less than 30 seconds. Loading a larger capacity card takes too long. I've always been a fan of this brand. Very reliable.

The Moultrie 7000i Cellular gaming camera is very picky about SD cards and Moultrie sells 8GB memory cards under their own brand for a ridiculous price of $25 each. The Transcend 8GB works great for 1/3 the price.

This is a fantastic SD card in terms of capacity, value and presentation as when received IO the item specified was well in the box and the capacity was then much higher I was expecting to have paid a lot cheaper than most retail outlets to make matters worse.

Not the seller's fault (The seller was great). The only thing is that the 8GB rated Transcend® SDHC card is actually only 7.3GB (7.85 actual storage). The problem is, if you try to create an 8GB image from NOTHING, it WILL NOT WORK. Stern Pinball Game Rom (RAW) files are too large at 10.3MB or Transcend® SDHC cards are too small.
