📝 Enhance Transcription Efficiency with Express Scribe: Transcription Foot Pedal for Windows and Mac Review

I bought this pedal because I use ExpressScribe Pro specifically and that's what it's designed for. This pedal has some kind of program that assigns hotkeys. For example: when I use the right shift key (I think because I didn't quite get it), the cursor pages don't go to the next page. Other keyboard shortcuts throw me at the head of the document, some insert parentheses, and so on. etc., too many to even list. I can't find a way to disable keyboard functions. This worked pretty well while I was using it. Downloading Express Scribe was smooth and easy. Before starting the software, connect the pedal, set the parameters and start decoding. Sometimes the pedal would get stuck and my cursor in Microsoft Word would move to a different spot in the document. I adjusted the thickness of the cursor to make it easier to find, and I just had to keep my eyes on the screen while typing to make sure I wasn't adding anything where it didn't belong. After…

I can't comment on the quality of this pedal as unfortunately I can't use it with my Mac. But I will say that it is useless to me. I bought this pedal to use on my Mac. A NOTICE. THE TITLE OF THIS LISTING IS "Transcription Pedal for Use with Express Scribe Transcription Software for Windows or Mac". It doesn't say anywhere that it's not Mac compatible. Guess what. I ended up taking it out of the box to use it and it wasn't recognized. I checked the ECS website for drivers. There are no drivers.
