Review on 📝 Enhance Transcription Efficiency with Express Scribe: Transcription Foot Pedal for Windows and Mac by Edwin Kreps

I can't comment on the quality of this pedal as unfortunately I can't use it with my Mac. But I will say that it is useless to me. I bought this pedal to use on my Mac. A NOTICE. THE TITLE OF THIS LISTING IS "Transcription Pedal for Use with Express Scribe Transcription Software for Windows or Mac". It doesn't say anywhere that it's not Mac compatible. Guess what. I ended up taking it out of the box to use it and it wasn't recognized. I checked the ECS website for drivers. There are no drivers. I downloaded the free Express Scribe software and the PDF help is outdated but mentions MacOS. This pedal is only compatible with Windows. $65 down the drain for something I can't use. Very frustrating. For reference, I record interviews on my Mac, which saves them as MP4s. You can easily convert to MP3 using any number of free online services, then upload it to the free ExpressScribe software and slow it down or use hotkeys to start and stop. Not as easy as Pedal, but it's free.
