Was disappointed with this. Tried using it with the existing internal parts and it did not respond. Had to replace the entire key fob. If I had been given one that responds to what I want it to do and not had to replace the entire unit, I'd be happier with it.

Perfect fit for my outer shell that was cracked and damaged. Kept worrying about the mechanical innards falling out. This solved the problem and it looks and works like brand new again!

The fob seemed like it was a 5-star item when I first got it. Unfortunately, the piece only lasted 1 month before the plastic chipped away at the edges as it was brittle and made of some cheapo plastic. I cannot recommend this product.unless you only need it for a month or so.

Bought this to replace my old key fob that had worn-out buttons. I removed the battery and circuit board and placed it in the new fob. The back part wouldn’t fit tight enough so the buttons would work, so I decided to use my old key fob backing and that fixed it. I can use my remote start again !

I've bought 3 of these so far. All three worked perfectly, although the last one took a little bit of work to get it to close(there was some excess plastic on one edge).Unfortunately, they all break within a month or so. They crack up around the edges and then lose their ability to stay closed. I even lost a battery upon pulling it out of my pocket. I store my car keys in the small "cell phone" pocket inside of the big right pocket in my jeans, separate from the rest of my keys and…

The new fob doesn't work! The fob appears to be made well, but it doesn't work. I transferred the circuit board from the old fob to the new one, added a new battery and nothing. So I pulled it back apart and checked that everything was where it was supposed to be and still nothing. I ended up having to use my old wore out rubber key pad from the old fob in the new plastic housing to get it to work.

This worked out perfect. My old key fob case was busted up. This replacement was a perfect fit. Looks brand new again. I've been using it couple of months now and it's been great. Still looks good as new.
