The old bushing was left in the compartment in pieces. This came and solved the starting problem due to a loose or missing bushing.

This item works great on my 2004 Toyota Sienna. It was a bit difficult to push due to the design of the van, but it worked great. It was also the best price I could find.

I received my package quickly. The seal fit and was easy to install. Hopefully this will last as the original was 18 years old. Time will tell I think. The process of gaining access to this connection is quite complicated, but it has nothing to do with the part. If I have any problems in the future, I will revise my review.

This product solved my problem. It was difficult to shift into park, then the car would not start. This little bushing practically falls apart after 20 years, leaving a gap around the shifter cable. This gap must be filled with a new bushing in order to properly shift from drive to park and back. Easy fix, done by myself in the driveway. How to repair a YouTube video. I first got another version for $30 from Amazon but they used the US Postal Service which has a bad history of packet loss. What they did then I found this one which was a lot cheaper and contained the exact same part and lube. Fits perfectly. it was a little tricky but works fine. You have to push really hard to fully seat in the Toyota shifter.
