This is a great neck pillow as it is usually too thick in the neck and tends to push the head forward too much. I like the removable insert to make the back thinner. The only thing missing is that it has something to close it in the front so it doesn't slide down when I fall asleep and also something to put the luggage handle down when traveling. This turned out to be a lot lighter than I expected as memory foam is usually heavy and dense. However, it is firm and soft as you would expect from a memory foam neck pillow. The outer velor is very soft and pleasant to the touch and I had no problems with itching, chafing or other skin irritations. The backrest is easy to adjust if needed, although I don't need it. I actually bought two of these for an upcoming 7 hour flight (shown in the attached pic, one grey, one blue). The pillows themselves are fine and held their shape for at least one flight. The reason I'm dissatisfied is the quality of the stitching. As you can see in the attached photo, the seam in the center is prone to tearing, which tells me the seam is very weak and poorly sewn. This means if you ever try to remove the outer lining and wash it, it's only a matter of time before the stitching
