I have a 20 gallon SoapEquipment tank with a sloping bottom and a water jacket that sits on this scale all the time. The tank heats up to about 190 degrees Fahrenheit. This scale fits perfectly under the tank and the heat does not interfere with the scale's measurement. This is a good solution that greatly simplifies the formulation work.

I liked the large displays and long cord on the scale, making it easy to see something to weigh more than a platform and still read. I work in a pantry and have weighed over 3 tons of groceries on this scale in the last 10 days and it works really well!
