Probably works but I won't try it because the one I received is different from the one shown here. Pressure only reaches 75psi compared to what is shown here. Brass instead of stainless steel.

Ordered two of them. They were installed for about two months. At first they worked great, but after two months one of them stopped measuring the pressure. It only reads 70psi all the time, which I know it doesn't. It would be nice if they were a little more durable. However, the temperature sensor seems to work well on both.

I bought this to install next to my new gas water heater. I chose this particular pressure gauge because the temperature and pressure ranges fall within the range where I need the hot water system to operate safely. The tank pressure monitor lets you know when the bladder pressure in my optional expansion tank needs to be reset to protect the hot water tank from damage.
