💻 Advanced PowerStrip+ with 7 Outlets - PC Review

I think the two previous reviewers are confused. This extender cannot put the computer to sleep, it just turns off the power ports when no motion is detected for a period of time. The same sensor also detects infrared signals generated by traditional remote controls and recognizes this as movement and also resets the countdown timer before turning off the power. In addition, the TV port turns on other green ports when they are in use, or turns off when the TV port detects no power consumption…

So the switch works exactly, for me it switches from the monitor to two computers in always-on sockets. All peripherals (speakers, separate chargers, docking station) are disabled when the monitor is not in use. However, I haven't used the motion sensor's sleep command yet.

Dims the TV screen constantly (every 5-10 minutes). The sensors are bad so I have to keep using the remote control to keep the TV from turning off. I threw mine in the trash and bought a regular surge protector that actually works properly. I find it ironic how harmful these things are to the environment considering so many of them end up in landfills lol.

I love how it turns off my active monitors and external DAC. 5 stars if it puts my computer to sleep for lack of movement as advertised. I know I set it up correctly because there is a button on the motion sensor that allows the user to put it to sleep. It works but there is no automatic option. This device was purchased new and is not returnable by the customer. I was really hoping this would solve my install. Will update 5 stars when it works properly automatically.

It was great for the 3 hours I used it. After I came back with the errand, the "switched" outlets stopped working even when my monitor (which was plugged into the "control" outlet) was on. Too bad I didn't read all the reviews here and elsewhere. It's a great concept, but the execution and quality leaves a lot to be desired.
