I was looking for a softball sized massager to help with some of my heel problems. The photos looked exactly what I wanted and the price was the same as others I've seen. Contrary to the photo shown, this ball was about 1/4 the size expected with a maximum diameter of 2 inches. Although I tried and it helped some, I found myself chasing it across the floor when it slipped out from under my foot. This made it difficult to control and hit the area I was aiming for. I am a long distance runner. I had plantar fasciitis from over-speed training. I bought this ball to stretch my leg before and after running. Many of these products have spikes. I don't like the feel of the spikes when coasting. I bought this product because the protrusions are flat and square. I think it's more convenient.
