I am a long distance runner. I had plantar fasciitis from over-speed training. I bought this ball to stretch my leg before and after running. Many of these products have spikes. I don't like the feel of the spikes when coasting. I bought this product because the protrusions are flat and square. I think it's more convenient. The product appears to be very durable and shows no signs of wear after a month of hard rolling. My leg feels better than it has in the last few months. I still have some pain but this ball has really helped relax my foot and reduce the frequency and severity of the discomfort. I will definitely buy this product again. For the price they charge it is very much worth the money.
