They are incredibly small. I ordered this and another pack from the same manufacturer in the same size (small). My very skinny son (who wears a size 4T or 5 with the tightest possible waist) found them uncomfortably tight, while another pack of the same size (again from the same manufacturer) was loose and had room to grow. I will not buy this brand again.

Bought these boxers for my 4.5 year old who is almost 48 pounds. Based on the reviews, I went one size larger (M). Interestingly, at the time of purchase (and this can be seen from my order), size M corresponded to 6-8 years. Today, a week later, the product size table says that M stands for 8-10 years.
