Disappointing Performance of KVM Switch

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I was expecting a lot from this KVM switch, but I was left disappointed with its performance. The switch causes frequent signal drops and has a confusing interface which wastes precious time. The only positive aspect of this product is its rack-mountable design, which at least keeps it neat AND tidy... As a whole this KVM switch is not worth the investment..

Impressive KVM Switch Solution

The Tripp Lite NetDirector Rack Mount KVM switch is the perfect tool for managing multiple computers in one space. My analysis of this product showed that it is easy to use, with user-friendly software that simplifies remote access from anywhere .The switch allows for convenient control of multiple computers desktops, or servers, all while freeing up valuable desktop space. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but the effectiveness of the product justifies the cost. Overall, I highly…

Terrible software, best KVM switches

Looks good and has all the necessary features, but the software is terrible! The remote mouse does not work stably, the video is not displayed. The device cannot be restarted remotely (sometimes a restart is required). I just want to be able to see the pc/server and control it with keyboard and mouse. Last firmware update 2013-07 but that didn't help. Until they fix their horrible software I would not recommend buying this product.
