Almost White Color

I wanted the Tripp Lite surge protector to be white and not black. I also needed a size that wasn't too long. This one was perfect for me. It's on a brown filing cabinet and I have 2 chargers, an HDMI extender and an HDMI switch that's hooked up to a surge protector. Pleasing that the color of the surge protector is almost white. Description says grey.

Meets my need for accessories and consumables

I've looked at a lot of these and I like the layout of the connectors on this one. I also like how the part that plugs into the wall is angled to allow full use of another plug in that outlet. We don't have young children in the house but I love that you can put a small cover on unused plugs just for safety. It's a bit bigger than I was hoping for, but it's on the floor under the table next to our couch and you can't see it. Being able to connect so many things at once, no matter the size ofโ€ฆ

Seems to work: Extension cord and surge protector

Desk. TrippLite helped me get everything off the floor and organized a bit so I could get to my desk if I needed to do something on the back of my computer. The cable length is pretty good and I had no trouble connecting anything to it. One thing I don't like is that the user manual doesn't mention the $75,000 hardware protection guarantee advertised on the box, so I'm deducting a star. It also puzzles me that I see a large number of people claiming their strike motion has been rejected.

Wall warts fit into almost all sockets, even the cable does not go straight in.

Wall warts too wide to fit all 5 sockets on the right side, 2 of the 5 sockets were covered when wall warts were plugged into the sockets. The 3 sockets on the left are well placed for wall warts and they are all useful. Nice long cable with good AWG and proper 3 pin connector. However, the three-pronged plug does not fit directly into the socket. The 3-pin connector needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise before connecting - no idea why the manufacturer screwed that up; If connectedโ€ฆ

Everything seems fine. via power distributor

Seems to be normal what is there. I just don't have a plug near my desk so I had to plug it in from a plug a few feet away and I need surge protection since I plug my computer into it. I like that I can cover unused sockets, although this is for dust and not for childproofing. I measured and thought it would do, but it's a little shorter than I wanted. I think the length may include the actual rectangle the plugs are in, not just the cord, but I haven't measured to test that theory. The cableโ€ฆ

A great product that can easily be overlooked but has a lot going for it.

I had a unique power system for my security dashcam that required x standard wall outlets and x available AC power outlets and this product proved to be the perfect solution. C With 8 outlets you might think you could have a lot of spares except unlike this unit many power supply manufacturers have a BIG discrepancy between designs. Some are just big and bulky, some are long and skinny, and some are skinny but at a 90-degree angle to a two-pronged connector. Finding the perfect solution for all
