I had a unique power system for my security dashcam that required x standard wall outlets and x available AC power outlets and this product proved to be the perfect solution. C With 8 outlets you might think you could have a lot of spares except unlike this unit many power supply manufacturers have a BIG discrepancy between designs. Some are just big and bulky, some are long and skinny, and some are skinny but at a 90-degree angle to a two-pronged connector. Finding the perfect solution for all these options is very difficult. However, this product does its best (and for the price DOES THE BEST) to solve this problem. For example, on adapters with two rectangular pins, I've plugged them into either side of the power button (with the adapter's body extending beyond the body of this product). Excellent! I used the rest as needed. I didn't need the "surge protection" aspect of this product since I connected it to a backup battery, but I can definitely see where people with multiple devices would appreciate this feature. Finally, don't forget that it has a right-angle plug, which means that when you plug it into an outlet, it won't stick out 2 or 3 inches from the wall and prevent you from fully retracting the TV stand. With a rectangular fork (large *plus*), this product does not bother if furniture or the like protrudes so far from the wall. Fantastic and highly recommended!
