Junk stopped working

This piece of crap stopped working this week. I take care of my things, but they still don't charge. I've had the original cable for over a year now and it's still working. My advice? Let's say all this crap comes from China. Buy original.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Seniors

Just too expensive for USB cables

Tripp Lite is just too expensive for its product. There's nothing wrong; However, the Monoprice versions are just as good and a lot cheaper.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Great cable for the price:

This cable is a fantastic cable in terms of stability and strength for its price and application. Quality cable from a QUALITY company and seller.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Legacy

Tripp-Lite is one of the best brands in Cable, Fiber, Networking, Power Cords and more! If you are looking for this or any other cable (e.g. a power cable for your laptop/PC), log on to Tripplite.com and enter your requirements in the Cables section. and they will tell you who owns it and how much.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some Little Things

Excellent USB cable quality

I like Tripp Lite USB cables - it's one of the few USB cables with a trademark on the ends so I know they're good cables, myself when they come in the package with other cables. It seems that when you buy USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables, they only come in 3ft lengths. The otherwise similar 6-foot Tripp-Lite cable I bought was only USB 3.1 Gen 1 (i.e. the same as USB 3.0, I assume).

Pros
  • Elderly understandable
Cons
  • Negative impression

Great quality for computers and accessories

I love Tripp Lite USB cables - this is one of the few USB cables with a branded end so I know they're good cables even if they are a box with other cables is hit. It seems that when you buy USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables, they only come in 3ft lengths. The otherwise similar 6-foot Tripp-Lite cable I bought was only USB 3.1 Gen 1 (i.e. the same as USB 3.0, I assume).

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance

Benson continues my review of obsolete USB Type-C cables. This time I'm reviewing the TRIPP LITE 3' USB 3.1 Gen 1 5Gb/s USB Type-C USB-C to USB Type A Cable. This cable does not comply with the USB Type C version 1.1 specification. To find the specification, go to usb.org and look at developer/usbtypec. Specifically, when using this charging cable, the Chromebook Pixel will attempt to draw 3A of current through the cable, which may damage the USB hub or charger on the A side, which is not…

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Not sure
