Great Solenoid! Meets expectations for the price.

The lawnmower battery was not spinning. Found out it was the solenoid. When connected, the lawn mower immediately turned and started. Unscrewing and connecting the terminals was easy, no tricks, just unscrew the old ones, screw in the new ones. This was done early last summer, the lawn mower was only started last week and with no problems. The lawn mower also has 4 powerful LED lights that require no extra effort when starting as I can see with a multimeter.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power

Replaced this item on our John Deere lawnmower. The husband was initially upset because the bolts or nuts that need to be replaced with the originals are slightly larger. Luckily this size was in his shop. He was then even more frustrated at having to strip the original wires and connections and replace them with larger ones. However, he also had these items in his shop. He had hardly set up and plugged in the new Trombetta when I heard a scolding because the mower didn't seem to want to start…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
