LOVE IT. Way cooler than anything I've tried.

Damn I love it! When I first put it on I thought it would be as hot as anything but the two gray vented sections are REALLY breathable even with a jersey over them. 100 times colder than my LEATT 5.5 weather shield. Elbows stay in place! What can not be said about LEATT 5.5. Easier to take off than LEATT. He was clutching some dead, fallen trees to his chest, like in a tournament, which I was sure would tear at least the fabric and maybe even the foam, but there wasn't even a trace. I'm 5ft…

We like the product and it seems well made

We liked the product and it seems well made This is a zipless sweater1. Rowing from soft to medium hard. The elbows had a stiffer shell, the rest of the padding is thicker foam. Throughout the padding there are softer and slightly firmer padding areas in the chest area, rib area and back area. There is too soft foam around the chest area which can really help you. The padding in the middle of the chest is pretty good, it's two small pieces left and right. want thicker, better quality foam in…

Disappointing design

Looks better on the picture than the real thing. In real life the finish of the product looks pretty cheap and the torso is much wider and shorter than it looks - the padding is actually a few inches above my waist which keeps my waist open (I'm 5'10"). , 155 lbs, waist 32, and I ordered a size L. The main flaw with the design is that the shoulder pad only protects the front of the shoulders and forearms, with the back of the shoulders and forearms being the most common point of impact. Some…

Bought for mountain biking and aggressive snowboarding

I use this item for both summer mountain biking and winter snowboarding. I've hit the western slopes more than 30 times this winter on a wide range of terrain (and lots of tree trails) and have worn this protective shirt (I call it armor) almost every time. First, I'm 6'0", 175 pounds, and bought a size Large. It fits nicely under my ski jacket. Chin. But wearing "armor" can't be totally comfortable. I have no issues with the rest of the overlays. Including heavily padded hands. Shirt has…

Likes it but not perfect

I'm 6'2", 185 lbs, 42.5". Size large fits very well. The sleeves can be a bit short but the elbow pads are in the right place. I bought it for skiing. After a shoulder injury last season I needed extra protection. I originally bought the Demon Flex Force D30 and felt it was really lacking in full/complete coverage. My biggest issue with the Demon was that the shoulder pads didn't protect well from a head-over/forward fall. The front of the shoulder (the humeral head) was not really protected…

  • Almost never
