Not a winter glove at all

I bought a pair of Troy Lee Swelter gloves and was so disappointed. These gloves aren't even remotely warm. My hands were cold in 50 degree weather at a steady 50-55 mph. Also, they're so thin, and while they claim to have a fleece lining, they actually have no lining. To be honest, not only are these gloves a disappointment, but Troy Lee is also a disappointment because of the huge false claims made about gloves that are really just glamorized motocross gloves.

New Englander Review

Bought these to try instead of regular leather. I live in New England and try to ride as much as possible a year and it's quite difficult to find gloves that handle the cold and wind without heat or mittens. When I first got them I was concerned about how thin they were. How can such a thin glove fit the title "soul"? They took them on a couple of overnight rides, resting around 35F (you can tell the wind is chilly) at over 60mph, and they lived up to their name. Not sweltering, but definitely…

The name isn't quite right

These gloves are stuffy. To be honest, I don't feel much difference between these and my "summer" riding gloves. If these gloves are indeed designed for cold weather, they're not that warm; I mean they have perforations on the palm for some crazy reason. Other than that I like these gloves and they are comfortable. I wear a thin pair underneath and it helps a lot. During the Michigan winter I ride in temperatures as low as 15-20 degrees and refuse to wear bike gloves or whatever their name is…

Useless. for gloves

For more money than I care to mention, it seems like nobody makes good midweight cold weather motorcycle gloves that aren't leather. They looked very promising online but when I received them I was immediately disappointed. They claim to have 3 layer fabric and fleece lining and I even saw a review from someone who claims they live in New England and ride comfortably in 35 degree weather. No doubt 35 degrees would be terrible in these gloves. There is no fleece lining. Some parts of the inside…
