I am surprised at how light this quilted vest is. I expected it to be heavier. The padding seems quite protective. I am happy with this purchase.

I'm 6ft 4in tall athletic build 225 . Size XL. I have ridden mountain bikes and had several accidents and was well protected. I have worn very hot weather and it breathes very well. I wear it directly on the skin, it doesn't itch.

I bought this for MTB and it definitely feels like it will protect from impact in most places but I bought a big one and although it's good fits my torso, the shoulders seem a little loose and I'm concerned that the pads might move on impact. I ordered the medium as I am most interested in shoulder and collarbone protection.

Size S 1.62/62 (m/kg) fits me perfectly. A little loose so you can breathe freely. The protection is not perfect due to the protection class. reduces the severity of injury in a fall. The only vest with elastics on the sides. The skid plates are perforated and very well ventilated while driving. Basically satisfied.

So this is a great jersey for the trail. It's better for track days or racing unless the temperature is below 70*. When you're riding aggressively on the trail, the extra heat is worth it. form fit and function. My bladder holds it tight. I hardly notice it on the descents. I'll give it a 10 for comfort and an 8 for cool/breathable...

The product I received does not match the one shown. The unit looked more like a short sleeve version of the 7855 long sleeve shirt. It wasn't smooth as shown in the picture so it stretches the layers and the foam pads have large gaps between the pads, much larger than the model pictured. Size seems to fit. My chest measurement was 34 inches, I went with a small. I would definitely NOT wear this to climb anything. Chairlifts only. It might be hot. An old paintball jersey over it. The first point is that I use it for airsoft, not for riding. This provides the best comfort and protection for 300 fps balls. You can feel it, but it doesn't hurt or leave a mark.
