Perfect size, good performance.

Excellent backpack, holds a lot of things. A couple of good features that I like are the hidden cover and rain cover.

My favorite backpack

I use my Tru Spec Elite for everything I do. Travel, school, travel. Cool backpack. I have to say that the only downside is that the zipper comes off easily. This can easily be fixed if you use something stronger for this. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Quality

The fabric looks durable. Contains everything I need for class. My only complaint is that the cords attached to the zipper heads come off very easily. After it's taken off, you'll need to tie it back up so the zipper can be used. I had one fall off within the first 5 minutes of using the bag. All in all a good bag. However, quality control or zipper pull designers need to rethink this.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good backpack but bad zippers

The backpack is very good. It contains many things. I can usually pack clothes and accessories in it for about 3 days and it won't get crowded. But there is a big problem with zippers. I've only used this backpack a few times and already 3 of the drawstrings have snapped. All broke the same way. Where they connect in the plastic that holds the ends of the laces together, one of the ends will come out and the tie will slip off the zipper. It is very inconvenient trying to use this backpack…

A good sturdy backpack is good for outdoor activities

A good sturdy backpack will probably last a long time, but it's a bit expensive. I think you're paying for the tactical look and harness. The material is durable and the zips are closed to keep the interior dry when not using a rain gear. I wish there were a few small zippered pockets inside instead of two large ones and I wish the other open top pockets had zippers. This section is where I keep small loose items that are difficult to organize well. It has a couple of additional external zipped

Pros
  • A good thing
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Lots of space, great for travel

Great bag, lots of room and compartments. It's a bit heavy - great for travel, but I'd recommend something lighter for everyday use. This is my bag for short trips (1-4 nights). UPDATED REVIEW, YEAR 3. ----- I'm still happy with this bag, but I'll highlight some of the places where it's broken. I use this bag almost every day. The zippers (not the zippers themselves) came loose on some zippers after only a few months. They're somewhere at the bottom of my bag, but there's no easy way to put…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • No insurance
