I'm so glad I found this at Revain!

Wanted and wanted! I bought this oil boat for me and my daughter from another seller. We love! Love! Love! She. They are perfect for a stick of butter, keep the temperature slightly below room temperature and can be placed on the table without a bottom container to hold water. That's great! When my daughter broke hers, she was very upset! I tried to find a replacement for her. Vain. Just those dirty squares that are kinda upside down? So dirty. POOH! I found this for her and added it to her…

Simple, elegant, efficient

Arrived in good condition, does what it says on the tin. It maintains a more consistent oil temperature than a traditional butter mold. It's winter here now, but the butter stays soft. It will be interesting to see what it will be like in summer when it is up to 50 degrees outside and up to 70 degrees in the kitchen. I just bought 5 of this item as a Christmas present. I've had an oil boat on my kitchen counter for over 15 years, when I saw her on QVC a long time ago. It's so wonderful to have softened butter on demand. No more torn toast, pancakes, etc. I've found I use a lot less butter when it's easy to spread rather than from the fridge when it puts clumps on food.
