Trudeau Maison Syrup Dispenser Red Review

I make my own syrup and was disappointed with two things. Firstly it's plastic and secondly it's 3 parts. I couldn't serve hot syrup in it, and I couldn't store cold syrup in it lest it spill out through the joints of the pieces.

Got it and wasn't sure what it's like, well it's ugly but hey if it works. I washed it because my wife insists on rewashing everything, not a bad idea. When I was putting away clean dishes, they hit the floor and broke right on the edge.

This is my third dispenser from Trudeau Maison. I use them to store and distribute honey. I was sad to see how the quality of the product really decreased. It had sharp edges, flimsy construction, and the spout lid didn't seal well, resulting in a leak. It also leaks a bit around the bottom seal.

The name says it all. Thin but plastic, so don't worry about breaking it. You can also use it in the microwave, so no cold syrup! But the syrup gets stuck at the top where it runs out. Of course, if you try to wipe it with a napkin, it breaks off. After a while, the syrup turns into a goo that's hard to open, but nobody said becoming a finger wrestling champion was easy.

We use this honey dispenser and it works great. The top is removable for filling and the bottom is also removable for washing. We've been using it for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any leaks from any of the seams as mentioned in other reviews. The spout will become a little sticky after a few uses, but that is to be expected given the nature of the syrup/honey. Nothing a quick wipe can't take care of, or just wait for it to empty and wash it all off. We just wish it was a little bigger…

I was happy to find a microwave syrup dispenser. There were no instructions included. Before using soap on the top rack in the dishwasher. The listing says dishwasher safe. I filled it up and put it in the microwave the first time we used it. Worked great. A week or two later it was pancakes again. The spout could not be adjusted or closed correctly. I've never had the motivation to write a review but this product is so bad that I feel I should try to help others avoid it at all costs. It runs down the front of the container and the back of the handle, contaminating the refrigerator and counter. The lid is a crude plastic thing that doesn't look durable and doesn't regulate the flow of syrup. You have to be very careful not to get too much maple on your fluffy pancakes. The lid also gets completely stuck in the syrup, so you have to pry it…
