Great cable but buy the correct RJ-45

Was able to wire through my attic. I'd say this bad boy is fat, so it's a little awkward for my inexperienced fingers to plug into my RJ 45, but here are the tools I used to make some network cables. I used about 100 feet of wire to go the longest stretch of my house. You could buy about 600 feet instead of 1000 but oh well. The house is approximately 2200 square meters one floor. Hope this information helps, and have fun! It's definitely a quality product (check out the speed tests before and…

Great product but make sure you get as many cables

It's amazing how easy it is to overestimate the number of cables you need. I ordered this because I couldn't find any smaller casters (only 300ft needed). However, the day after arrival I found a 250ft box of the same, so I figured I'd return that and buy a smaller one (less waste and a lot less cost). Well, the return policy isn't like most Revains. products, and the return cost was almost $90. This makes the smaller box have the same value (or close enough to not matter) after the offset…

Best value for money in cables and accessories

For what I paid for a 1000ft box, pretty darn good price. I've just installed a couple of Cisco Airnet 1852 POEs over the last few days, this cable pulled out of the box very well and was a good heavy duty shielded cable. A note: pay attention to the cable size. This is a 7.3mm O.D. cable and regular plugs will not work if they are the standard size. I used some of the shielded connectors I got from Revain for another project here at work a few years ago and they worked great with the right…
