Well made cable, good value for money

I need to replace an old cable that was not giving me the network speed that my cable modem is capable of. The cable is strong. It's a little tricky to work with as it's stiffer than the existing cable and also a bit thicker. The speed increased dramatically after changing the wire.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Decent cable for the money

I mistakenly ordered cat wire which wasn't solid wire - it was sheathed in aluminum wire and hard as hell to work with. He kept breaking down trying to terminate the wire. I ordered this wire and it is solid copper and much more workable. So far everything to die for is low noise and appears to be of decent quality. Don't make the same mistake I did - make sure to get a STRONG wire!

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Only available in white

CAT6 quality. for Ethernet cable

Good CAT6A cable. Well protected by a thick shell. Wiring on the ground floor and in the basement. Copper was more break resistant than other cables I ran. Be mindful of the RJ45 connectors you plan to crimp as the thickness of the cable makes it difficult to insert. Keystones were mainly used in my project and this was perfect for them. My hardware only uses 1GB and I have verified that these speeds are reached with no issues. I wanted to test the future so I used this cable as it can hold up…

Pros
  • INDOOR USE. The blue riser shell is for use between floors, in walls and in spaces not connected to the plenum. Support floor-to-floor fire propagation in vertical installations with moderate fire resistance.
Cons
  • Socket required

Nothing for beginners: cables and connections

I teach computer networking in a program that requires students to make their own ethernet cables and do their own runs each semester. We still tend to use Cat5e just because it's economical and easy to use for beginners, but sometimes we plug in and use Cat6 when it's available. I figured Cat6a would be no different than 6 so I decided to protect my home a bit by purchasing this product for a home project I am working on. This Cat6A material is a whole different beast if you're used to working

Pros
  • RESIDENTIAL COPPER CONDUCTOR. Pure bare copper gives a stronger signal along with better conductivity and flexibility than copper clad aluminum (CCA).
Cons
  • unreliable

Impressive quality and value

If you are looking for a high quality indoor CAT6A CMR cable at a reasonable price, you just found it. I'm installing Wi-Fi networks and camera systems and this particular cable is for an internal Wi-Fi hotspot/switch. /router/server installation. I was guided by the following criteria when making my selection: • The cable must be made of solid copper. Many of the purlins I install are up to 300 feet high. Stranded copper cable should not be used over 75 feet • The cable must be CAT6A as the…
