Excellent gloves. The leather is soft but strong enough to withstand up to two weeks of rough rock movement. I'll buy another pair to keep when this one wears out, but I probably won't need to take them out anytime soon. They are a bit big. I usually wear XL but this fits me better. I gifted a pair of XLs to my neighbor who has huge hands. He likes her too.

This is by far my favorite metalworking glove, but I wish it was a more consistent size. I would say 1 in 3 pairs of gloves fits true to size. We order large all the time, but we often get gloves that we barely fit in. In fact, a pair we just received looks like SM. This happened in the last 6-8 months. There were no problems before.

As a union pipe worker who works almost exclusively in industrial plants these gloves are the best gloves for anchoring, rigging and general daily work. The only area of my work where they don't exceed expectations is with sparks or flames. High quality leather, strong stitching with a good Velcro closure. The only problem is that the back is made of foam and nylon. If you need to grind pipe or do any welding work, it's best to replace them with a pair of full-grain leather gloves.
