Rash Guard is perfect for playing on the sandy beach and the zipper makes it easy to put on and take off. The hood protects the neck and ears, which are always prone to sunburn on my kids. My only complaint is that the logo came halfway off after the first wash, which isn't a big deal even when turned inside out and hung dry.

This shirt is ideal for the beach, splashing water or pool. I love the hood but my kids say it's uncomfortable when they're in the pool and going underwater. We put her goggles on the hood as soon as she surfaced and that seemed to help. We bought an extra small for my daughter (5 years) and a medium for my son (7.5 years) and both are great for growth.

I bought this for my son for the fall kayak/canoe program. As soon as he got it, he put it on because it was "so soft." He liked it so much we bought another one because he wears it like a shirt! This is a really high quality shirt with sun protection, it looks great and fits perfectly. We're a size 10/12 for my 10 year old and it's not skin tight, it's a little loose but he loves it. I highly recommend it.
