I have worn it on the beach and in the sea. I thought it would be sticky and hot over my swimsuit but I just put the bottoms of my 2 pieces on. Tankini and it's like a top and it wasn't sticky or hot. I tan so easily that I apply SPF 100 to my arms, legs and face so this is the perfect sun top for me on a very hot and muggy day. I highly recommend it!

People shouldn't understand what a water shirt means because that's what it is. I bought a medium and it's a bit loose but I like the fit, I usually wear a medium or large size depending on the brand, it fits perfectly, a bit of freedom of movement without riding up. Haven't worn it in the water yet figured people would want to know more about sizing. The fabric is beautiful, just like the picture.
