Description of 🎨 Tsukineko Baby Powder Kaleidacolor Dye Inkpad - 5-Color Selection

Kaleidacolor is Tsukineko's multicolor ("rainbow") dye inkpad for paper crafting of all kinds; the patented sliding pads, unique in the paper crafting industry, provide a continuous inking surface when in use. With pads touching, Kaleidacolor is excellent for multi-color stamping, creating color backgrounds, and resist techniques. For storage, the pads slide apart to allow colors to stay fresh and true by preventing color migration; while pads are apart, 5 separate inkpads await for color coordinated watercolor palates and small stamp projects. Water-based, cleans up easily with stazon all-purpose stamp cleaner. Measures 5.247 by 2.742 by 0.7-inch.

Vibrant Ink Palette for Your Crafts

According to my experience, this kaleidoscope inkpad gives a beautiful blend of colors to enhance your scrapbooking or card-making designs. The colors are remarkably vibrant and can be used on various materials, including glossy cardstock and vellum. The flip-top lid ensures that the inkpad doesn't dry out quickly, making it last longer. However, the ink might take a bit longer to dry completely, so be careful not to smudge it while working. Overall, it's an excellent addition to any crafting…

Pros
  • Multiple colors in one inkpad for easy blending and layering.
Cons
  • Powder may cause a mess during application and cleanup.

All the colors they make are great

You can't ruin the ink because it can't be removed without separating it or the cover won't reattach. A great idea.

Pros
  • Ink Pad
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Slightly more technique required

I typically make and sell 150-200 greeting cards a year to help our local library and I love making some of the backgrounds with multicolored ink pads. Kaleidacolor is Tsukineko's multicolored ("rainbow") ink pad that should provide a solid surface of ink if used after the stamps are pushed together. There is a button that makes it easy to move the pads next to each other. The bad news is that the button extends beyond the individual ink pads, so you can't get the colors as close to the button…

Pros
  • Pads slide apart for storage to keep colors fresh and natural and prevent color migration; While the blocks are separate, 5 separate ink pads await color-coordinated watercolor palettes and small stamping projects
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other sets
