Too big for the size

Too big for a size I sent back over a month ago and you are exchanging me again for this dress which was supposed to be a return I sent back.

Fits perfectly! good for me

My 8 year old is of small build and usually wears slim fitting clothes. I thought I would have to hem my bust and waist but this is perfect! I was very happy with the dress and my 8 year old loves it!

Pros
  • Well made for the price, there weren't any protruding threads, it was long enough to use more volume underneath, my kid loved it.
Cons
  • Big disappointment. Came in the wrong color and design, smaller than expected. It was also very hard. waste of money

Low price = low quality

I bought it in pink size 11-12. Shades of pink are two different colors. The top is dark and the bottom is light. The material on the bottom is almost transparent. If you want it to bulge you need to buy a petticoat as it just hangs. My daughter is 5ft and that is almost the length of a tee at hers. We bought it as a Halloween costume so it's ok but if we bought it for a good event I wouldn't be happy as the quality is pretty bad.

Wouldn't buy again

The fit was odd. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter (48" tall, 50 lbs). It buttoned up and fit perfectly, but the length was outrageous. I ended up cutting about 5 inches of fabric from the bottom because it always wears out stumbled across all the excess fabric again.I would have sent it back but didn't have time to find anything else for her princess prom.

Not true to size. Way too small!

Nice dress but didn't fit at all. I had to order another dress from another company. This dress was supposed to be for my daughter Pagent. It cannot be closed or even close. I don't know how they got their size. If you're different, go up a size or two.

  • Without the large round area, the dress looks boring. The color is the same as in the picture, but differs greatly from the illustration.

Fit was small good for me

When I ordered the size she normally wears, it was too small for my daughter. I would increase the size, but then it would be too long for her in our case.

You don't get great quality for what you pay for

You get what you pay for. If you want your child to just play dress up, that's fine. Not the best quality, especially for a special occasion or theatrical performance.

Not recommended based on my rating.

This dress was stuffed into a bag and completely crumpled. Very cheaply made. The seams don't match at all. Not nice at all. Cheap kids costume dress looks better than this one. I do NOT recommend.

My verdict is super sweet

We used this dress for a DIY Halloween costume and it was very pretty. The material is a bit scratchy and the quality is ok but looks nice.

Not prickly! - my new rating

My daughter is a size 10 (she's between a 10 and 12 but I took the smaller size because the cutout is on her chest). Great fit! She's also very sensitive to spiky fabrics...like a skirt. But thanks to the incorporated underskirt, that doesn't bother her at all. We dressed up for the Nutcracker and everyone complimented her in this dress.

  • The dress is only suitable for certain occasions such as a wedding or pageant and may not be versatile enough to wear on other occasions.

Excellent value for money and quality

I thought the dress was great value for money. I found the waist a bit small for the size. We took size 6-7 but my daughter wears 5t. Because of this, the daughter will only wear it once or twice

dress disappointed

I am very disappointed in the quality of this dress! The zipper was difficult to zip up, it looked so uneven, plus the dress just seemed to be torn all over, and the rope was everywhere.

Nice but small

Too small. That is nice. The clasp is tight. Daughter wears 7/8. I ordered 8/9 and they were too small. When they refunded my order they didn't put it back on my card I bought which they refunded as a Revain gift card.

My daughter felt like a princess

My daughter is tall, thin and usually wears a size 10, 10/12 or larger. It was a bit loose around the waist but if I went down in size it would be too tight under the armpits as some other reviewers said. I don't think it will last but I only needed it for her father daughter dance and it lasted all night so that's good enough for me. Now it will be a play dress until it falls apart. Not great quality. Not very suitable. But it's cheap and you can customize it to your liking.

Size is a gamble, quality control isn't the best

This dress does NOT fit the size chart. Originally I bought dress size 6/7 for my 7 year old and dress size 8/9 for my almost 9 year old. I would say the size 6/7 fitted almost perfectly, while the size 8/9 was HUGE and MUCH larger than the sizes shown in the chart (I would say it fit like a standard 11/12).
