Highly recommended. My daughter wears them every week to fall/winter skating at an outdoor NYC rink and they keep her feet warm without the need for footwarmers.

This is a great boot that will keep your young rider warm. I'm a slightly larger size including thick socks and so far have had no complaints of her toes being cold.
