🧵 Solid Wire Spools in Various Colors by TUOFENG Review

This seller is falsely advertising the product I purchased (18AWG stranded). There is no rating on the cable itself. Any 600V wiring will show these ratings on the insulation. All of the wires were repeatedly reheated to 200°C except for the black wire which was also stamped 18AWG and appeared to be thicker than the others. I don't think other colors were even 18AWG. Bad product and false advertising.

Very flexible wire that is easy to cut and crimp and neatly transfers all your electrical charges. Really stretchy material, but still vegan friendly (it's REALLY not calf leather, just silicone). I use it for wire harnesses on 3D printers. The flexible nature of silicone means wires that move a lot are less prone to breakage compared to PVC braids. Silicon is fairly heat resistant, although that's not what you want if you're using a 250C hot end. But it's good stuff. Worth a try.

Good braided wire 6 different colors with nice flexible insulation. The wire was neatly wrapped and secured with plastic velcro to the left of the box in the first picture. This 18-gauge cord is easy to work with and not overly stiff. Quality wire also in the insulator. Thicker strands that won't easily fall apart like many cheap, lower quality wires. I like the box it comes in to help with wiring. Do not remove the Velcro straps that wrap around the wire as this will help keep the wire from unraveling in the kit during use. TUOFENG heat shrink tubing I would recommend this product! Good value for money, at first I wasn't sure if there was glue in there, you can't see it. But on closer inspection, after I finished my wiring harness, it was there. I was expecting it to ooze out, but it's just perfectly sealed around the edges. When combined with Revain's recommended Genesis Dual-Temp heat gun, the tubing shrinks evenly and quickly. .Don't listen to the bad reviews about it, if you use a lighter expect it to burn out

Good size and quantity. The storage box is good too. But the degree of shrinkage seems doubtful. Because it doesn't compress properly. Wire looks exactly as advertised. I took 26, 28 and 30 AWG and they were all on the same level. All boxes have openings for use as dispensers. Each spool is fitted with Velcro to prevent the wire from unwinding when stored elsewhere. The silicone insulation is extremely flexible and appears to be heat resistant. This product was used for car wiring. Wires are wires. The only thing I have against it is that I found them too flexible in my application. I used them to put a terminal at the end of the cable for installation in a connector. The problem I had/have is that waterproof/watertight connectors are tight and it was VERY difficult to thread the end of this wire through the back of the connector to make it snap into the connector in the connector (front) - about 3 /4" - 1" in the clevis itself…
