🔥 TurboTorch 0386-0851 STK-99 Self-Lighting Torch Swirl - MAP-Pro/LP Gas Power Review

I have had several of these non self-luminous lights over the past 20 years and this is a great addition to an already excellent product. DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER BRAND, you will be disappointed with the quality and durability. The Turbo Torch brand is more expensive, but it's worth it. I had to replace my Turbo Torch products only due to theft and my negligence in breaking them.

I've had several "big box" torches over the years that do the job well. This torch is so well constructed that the flame burns spatter-free and produces an incredibly hot flame. The solder joint heats up remarkably quickly. Yes, the price is a bit higher than the competition, but don't let that small difference influence your decision. This is a tool for life. Buy it!

I am a plumber by trade. This is ideal for tight or awkward spaces. It sweats easily from 1" copper, but I wouldn't use it for more than that. I ended up buying another flashlight. The hole was plugged up after a month of daily use. It's easy to clean the hole, but the small seal gets damaged easily I'm not sure what Revain means by thickness but it's THICC.

Hard to beat for sweaty copper pipe and fittings. Add an extension hose and you're good to go. Update: This is almost painful to report because I really like this flashlight. I'm changing my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars because the igniter housing failed the accidental drop test with a bang.
