Description of TurnsPro Panning Rotating Motorised Panoramic

Panning / Rotating timelapse camera mount for GoPro (tripod adapter required, not included in this listing), action camera, DSLR, compact camera, iPhone or Android. Keep rotating around or rotate back and forth at an angle that can be set from 15 to 360 degrees in increments of 15 degrees. Select rotation speed, direction (clockwise and anti-clockwise) and angle - very simple and intuitive setup. 4 x AA batteries (not included) which gives over 10 hour battery life. Specify the 360 degree rotation time from 20 seconds (panoselfies) to 10 hours (time-lapse films) with 1 second precision.

Used with Go Pro and DSLR cameras.

Really enjoyed using it. Not buggy and very smooth. I shot 8-2 hours before changing the batteries. Several people have complained about the battery compartment not closing properly. I think I have a hand vise and it wasn't a problem for me. I'll be doing a video review in a few weeks to show this in action.

  • Good item
Cons
  • No insurance

Not for time lapse.

TurnsPro is of limited use as it only works with cell phones or very light cameras. Contrary to what is advertised, the device will not work with a DSLR with a conventional lens attached; the engine becomes jerky and unusable for time-lapse. I had the opportunity to try time-lapse on my iPhone, but the results weren't satisfactory: speed fluctuations and excessive vibration made it completely unusable. I return the Revain device only after three days of use.

Very happy with TurnsPro

TurnsPro are fantastic. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have shot good slow motion videos with pans ranging from 2 to 8 hours. Very good product, easy to use and very intuitive. There are two small drawbacks. First, the battery latch is difficult to open with your fingernails, you need to use a coin or a screwdriver. Second, if you make a programming mistake, the only way to fix it is to turn it off and start over. Anyway, none of this prevents me from using the device when needed. I

Weak, unstable and unassuming

Disappointing. It can be useful for a GoPro or a cell phone, but it doesn't perform well for a large camera. I used a 1.8lb camera - well within the recommended 2.2lb limit. The corners were anything but smooth and the system seemed to be struggling. As a result, panoramas jerked, regardless of whether they were in slow motion or normal speed. Any slight gust of wind will shake the camera - the top camera mount looks like it's sitting on a plastic cog that will give way at the slightest…

Requires customer service for optimal use

Works well, has more functionality than "egg timer" alternatives and is relatively inexpensive. Works with any small or compact time-lapse camera. Don't try to use it with a large DSLR or a heavy lens as it won't balance or stress the mechanisms. I'm taking off a star because the bottom nut used to attach to the tripod is too deep or not wide enough to easily attach to the tripod's quick release plate. The device and camera are only held by very few threads, which can lead to falling. The…

I had a lot of fun with this head

I had a lot of fun with this head. It's not the best I've seen, but overall not bad. What I like is that you can use it to program the degrees you're going to study and how quickly you want those degrees to be covered. I can tell him to move either clockwise or counterclockwise, say more than 100 degrees, and I can tell him to do it in 20 seconds to take quick panoramic shots from my phone, or i can tell him to cover this area within a few hours, i want to do a time lapse. The reason I didn't…

Big!. For GoPro or very light cameras.

I bought this for my RX10 which is a smaller DSLR camera as shown in the pictures. It can handle the rotation perfectly, although the batteries wear out very quickly. Although it completely fails at every angle. All of this can be handled by gopro. Even in this case, the batteries will be empty within a few hours. How is it supposed to do a 10 hour spin when the battery only lasts 4? Pros: - Amazing adjustability, fine tune to spin at almost any speed for as long as you want. (Plus 1 star)…
