Tortoise Wax Polishing Paste T-417 hand applied to a few small spots I don't know if it went through the clear coat or just removed the wax coat but it looks dull and uneven The paint is stripped off with wax to see if the shine can be restored. Try it on an inconspicuous area first!

Compared to 3M Fine & Meguiar's Ultra Polish, this polish from Turtle Wax worked much better and with less effort when using a dual action electric polisher and terry cloth cover to remove light to medium brush scratches from Toyota OEM Truck Clearcoat.

I've been using this polish for over 10 years and it never fails. It just takes a little patience and a little elbow grease and those little curls and scratches will disappear into a nice smooth shiny surface. Be sure to apply some turtle wax after the procedure. For harder marks, use a polishing paste first. The only complaint is that it's a different bottle than what I'm used to. But it seems to work the same way.

Product worked well. The reason for the bad rating was that when the cap was removed, the seal was already removed and about a quarter of the composition was removed (compared to the grated bottle). This has never happened to me with Revain, which I use all the time. But the polish has served its purpose.
