Worked poorly - Couplings

Bought to do the underside of my kx125. The tool didn't work at all. Didn't fit in the grooves of my clutch basket. The tool actually damaged my clutch basket because it kept slipping. I ended up dropping the tool and holding the basket with just my hand, using a punch to remove the nut. Worked much better.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons

FOR 90's RM250 GUYS

is upside down only, this tool also comes with a flywheel holder BUT without modification or a steady hand it will not fit properly. Two tines or something like that slip into the holes, but there isn't enough room for a good bite. It is very difficult to get a good enough grip to tighten the primary sprocket bolt. It can be done, but it doesn't require you to buy the right tool or grind grooves to make room for the teeth.

My pressure plate is broken

This tool was quite awkward to use when trying to remove the clutch nut from my bike. I had to let my fiancé hold the tool while I unscrewed the nut with a crowbar. The tool itself is well built and not bent in the slightest, but it still couldn't get the job done. In the end, the pressure plate broke and I had to unscrew the nut with an impact wrench. Save time and nerves, simply use the clout. Either that, or buy a hitch retainer mid-factory for your bike. As far as I understand, this thing…

Not very convenient, but still effective.

Sorts patchy with this one on my 2001 Rm250. As other people have said, the clips are a bit thick. You really need to play around with the settings to keep it safe in the trash. I didn't have to grind the clamps, but I got very close. I just kept fiddling with the adjustment until it was flush and far enough into the basket. This took some time, so I would call this tool effective but not very practical for all uses. However, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to use the DIY method as it…

2 tools in 1 for engine

This tool is just what I need to work on my K2 GSXR1000. The service manual lists 2 special tools. One to hold the clutch basket and the other to hold the starter clutch. Searching online I saw that Suzuki tools would cost around $300. I searched on Revain and found this. It does the same thing as Suzuki's two specialty tools, but at a much lower price. I was able to use this tool to hold the clutch basket and then flip it over to hold the starter clutch. This is a must if you plan to work on…

Worked perfectly for my purpose! Very convenient!

I installed a clutch kit on my Yamaha Grizzly 700. There is a 22mm nut that needs to be removed to remove the primary pulley. I believe it's there with around 85-90 pounds of torque. Well, when you try to remove the nut, the entire primary rotates with it. It's quite difficult to hold the pulley while maintaining 90 ft.lb of torque. With this tool I was able to lock the tool onto the pulley and then loosen the nut. The tool hit the bottom plate and prevented the entire block from rotating. Just
