But sharp as expected

I have to say although I've had this particular pair before - this particular pair isn't as sharp as the ones I've had before. I dropped my previous pair by bending the tip so I had to get a new one. Especially not happy.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

The spring gets stuck rendering it unusable

The 1/4 jaw size is perfect for my small hands and nails, it's accurate and sharp enough but not too crazy to make you bleed. However, the spring mechanism is terrible. Broke in just two days of use. I've tried detaching and reattaching the arms, it bounces once or twice and gets stuck again. I'm not sure how to fix this, or maybe I'll have to give up and get them back. I would have expected more from such a reliable brand.

Disappointed but had a good history with Tweezerman products

I have long been a fan of Tweezerman products. This one was disappointing as it arrived damaged and appeared to be of lower quality than my previous Tweezerman products that I own and use. I wish they sold 1/4 inch wire cutters.

Pros
  • nice item
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Worth the money.: Cuticle Nipper

Have been using them for 19 years. like a manicure. There will be no other brand. Price-performance ratio. You can even send them to Tweezerman for sharpening, and if that's not possible, they'll give you a $5 credit toward your next pair. Such a deal.

Bad design and lack of sharpness spoil it for me.

I have always turned to Tweezerman for quality products. To me, this is an epic failure. The spring mechanism is not strong enough to open the jaws. After a while, they just stayed closed due to the central "spring" design. They are bent so much that they cannot open on their own. I had to bend them and lubricate the hinge well to make them work. More disappointing is the lack of seasoning. These things just don't cut. They tear off the skin. Cuticle nippers should be razor sharp. My cheaper…

Too hard! It's arm workout

Well I don't know what's wrong with them but it's not the Tweezerman quality I'm used to. Spring is so hard that at the end you have to stretch your arms. I've been using Tweezermand since at least the mid 90's and have been looking for the same quality for the past 5 years as I did then. I will send these back. The cheap pair I bought from Poya in Taiwan was 100 times better. I'll look for them on eBay

Unfortunately not sharp

I'm a long time Tweezerman fan but very disappointed in these wire cutters. In fact, they are no longer a full quarter of an inch. My biggest disappointment was that these wire cutters weren't that sharp. Three months later I had to order a new one.

Poor quality cuticle clipper

For the first time ever I had to write a bad review. My wife has never had a problem with this brand so we felt comfortable ordering from Revain. The order was received on time but the product is terrible. The spring is stiff and prevents the feeder from working properly. You have to open and close the tweezers manually, very annoying. Seems stuck. I will not order anymore.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Well worth it for foot, hand and nail care

I love this knife! It is very easy to use and handle. I give my boyfriend a pedicure and since he has a smaller jaw I can really get into his cuticles without cutting through the living skin. Especially for his legs, really money work for me.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Hard to say

Cuts cuticles well but screws keep coming loose

I had an old Tweezerman clipper that became dull. It has always worked very well and when I tried to replace it at local stores only 1/2 jaw was available. I was happy to find 1/4 pine at Revain. When I first tried it I noticed that it didn't spring back. I noticed that the bolts holding the middle pieces to the outer pieces were loose. After tightening everything worked. However, the same thing happened a few weeks later. I think I have to tighten them regularly, which I never did on my old…
