Budget Organizer

I don't think this organizer will hold up to industrial abuse, but for the home it's enough to carry when properly installed. Clearance is adequate and can accommodate up to a full rack of typical tools. Pegs are only suitable for light objects. These are 16" sections that can be linked together as one or more racks. I will be buying another one or two of these for my garage and garden tools.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • No Paint Required

Not strong enough for garden tools

I bought this product to organize my garden tools in my shed but it is very cheap plastic and not strong at all as advertised. Make sure all of your tools are touching the ground. Hooks are way better than cheap plastic pegs. This product is best for holding very light objects like a mop or broom. Definitely not suitable for heavier things like shovels and rakes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Weak plastic and small hooks

Twinkle Star is a good name for this rack. It's made of thin plastic and the hooks are too small for large shovels and long tools. I believe this fragile thing will break after a week of normal use because it is so light. Hanging small garden tools or light brooms might be fine, but not for actual full-size tools. I should have known better after seeing the name. I returned it.

Pros
  • finally bought
Cons
  • unreliable

Sturdy enough but...

The first screws we used were striped so we threw them away and used screws. After that it was easy to install but as you can see from my photos there is not enough space for the items I want to hang. Only about 4 1/2-5 inches between hooks and less between hooks and pins. It seems strong enough to hold most items but it won't hold the longest rake.... I've considered returning it...

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Fragile, cheaply made, hard-to-handle tools on it

Pretty flimsy and cheaply made - I can tell if it lasts. The installation was a bit tricky without the right guide, you just have to figure it all out yourself. Difficult to put on and take off, may take some getting used to. If I were to buy now I would go with something stronger. Didn't come back because I washed the rod from the garage and I needed it now!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not everything fits

does not hold the tool very well

Easy assembly but I have 2 problems with it. First, the hooks turn sideways slightly, but the most important thing is that the rubber coating on the hooks is not very thick and not "sticky". This makes the tools slide down fairly easily. Sometimes I keep picking up tools that have slipped down over time. I would buy it again but it could be easily fixed with a thicker or stickier gum on the hooks. I think a plastic dip might fix that too.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Protection

I wish there was a template for drilling holes in the wall. You can make your own by gluing paper together and folding a piece over it to mark the holes. You won't get a straight line if you try to put it together and then mark the holes on the wall from the item as they won't line up exactly until they're screwed to the wall. As long as it's pretty strong. I wish some of the hooks were forward facing too, but you can just bend some of them yourself. In general it works to hang what I need.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Too long to wait
