Pretty dull for a wood chisel

Chisel tip was not sharp when arrived. I ordered a lapping stone and some water stones to micro bevel it. All in all it looks like a big and solid chisel but I can't test it until the sharpeners arrive.

feedback is more for the seller. The double cherry chisel is strong and durable. but the chisel I revived had a broken edge, indicating it had fallen off. A new bit typically requires 15 minutes of work to become functional. this one will probably take 45 minutes to remove the broken edge. Damn

Good tool; Excellent value for money

I've only cut four grooves with this so far but the edge has held up very well so I guess the steel is good. This is a very strong chisel and although the edge and spine required regular and not excessive sharpening and flattening, I was very pleased with the overall quality. Like I said; that's a great value.
