Better than expected

I've used dozens of glues, epoxies etc and they work. I felt like they were slowly setting so I added superglue and there was no movement between the two corals. Even when the guys try to rearrange my tanks.

Won't stick to: Fish and aquatic animals

I've used a lot of putty over the years to hold rocks and coral. That has to be one of the shittiest putties I've ever used. This will also cause your skimmer to spin and overflow. Much better products elsewhere.

Pros
  • Cures dry, wet or submerged

does the job. in Fish & Aquatic Pets

Ordered to repair the pump (Hydor Korlia 3) because it broke due to the magnetic base. I put it on and it looks great in my aquarium. But there are some problems I had with it. First, it smells awful when you use it. If you've ever used a strong putty then you know what I'm talking about. It is also very fluffy when applied. But overall, he does what he says and gets the job done.

Pros
  • Treats dry, wet or underwater water.
Cons
  • Quality

Very strong once cured

Good stuff. My recommendation is that you knead it longer than I did the first few times. It comes with a green puddy stick and a purple one. The longer you knead it, the faster it hardens, turning a dark purple color that looks more like coralline algae than a clump of puddles in your aquarium. Reusable container so you can cut what you need without worrying about it drying out. It breaks down a bit, meaning it'll fog the saltwater slightly, but a protein skimmer will do it all pretty quickly.

Pros
  • Underwater epoxy putty for marine and reef aquariums
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Not good at all! in Aquarium Water Treatments

I initially bought this hoping to mount my live rocks in an aquascape and it failed completely. One of them wouldn't stick to rocks to save their life, and it's even said to be usable underwater. You'd better buy a few bottles of super glue gel like I did, it works great for holding heavy live rocks in place. To be honest I don't even think this material will bond coral fragments to rocks or corks, nor will this material get as hard as regular epoxy. Overall the shipping was good and the price…

Pros
  • Treats dry, wet or submerged water
Cons
  • Compatibility

Useful, Smelly, Possibly Painful

AquaStik Epoxy is really good in some cases and not so good in others. First, it's great for attaching live rock to a reef or FOWLR tank. It's not great to attach a splinter dowel to live rock unless you have holes to fit it through. If you're trying to attach a piece of coral to a cork in a more difficult spot, you're going to get frustrated with this epoxy. It has a very weak hold and even if you apply larger fish (or eels in my case) they will eventually knock out the whole piece of coral…
