Marseille Knot Door Stopper: Stylishly Practical Anchor for Any Space - 3.3 lbs Jute Design Review

I have ordered two of these nautical style doorstops. One came a few days later, the other a week later. They are very different. Both work well and weigh about the same.

I'm an interior designer and I use them in most of my cottage projects. They look amazing and add a unique element to most interior styles. The head will not come loose or fall off and is heavy enough to serve as a solid door guard.

Aside from the fact that my only dog thought she could play with her (simply because she's stupid), I'd say she works standing. It's not very heavy but will hold the door in place. I was looking for something that wouldn't scratch the floor and this was perfect.

Ordered two of these doorstops. One is perfect, just like the photo and well built. The other is FAKE. The top loop is thin and sags. The rope is thinner and a slightly different color. It's smaller and doesn't weigh as much as the other. The rope pattern is only 4 per section instead of five as shown in the picture!

This is a heavy duty well designed doorstop. My sister and I first saw it in a seaside shop at a much higher price. I've seen other versions of this whimsical nautical item that are poorly done: rope and glue falling from the light center. If you are by the lake or have a pool, this is a fun decoration.

I ordered two of these after reading other reviews and I am very glad I did. I've been wearing them for a few weeks and a surprising number of people are noticing and asking about them. The weight is heavy enough to keep the doors from slamming but light enough to be easy to grab and move. I bought these for my lake house to match the decor perfectly.

I think they will be great. We have a beach house and they look amazing. However, they are so light that they do not prevent the door from moving (even in a light breeze). On carpet or not, they tip over or slide sideways. If you want something for knots but doesn't work, that would be fine. If you want them to act as a doorstop, choose something heavier. * returned for refund
