but as soon as I picked up speed, it cooled off. It made me believe.

I bought this fan for my 1998 Cobra. When I first put it on the car still overheated in traffic, but as soon as I picked up speed it cooled down. This led me to believe that the high speed wasn't working when it got up to temperature. After some searching we found that this fan came with a resistor built into the cable connector that prevented the high speed from turning on. The original '98 Cobra fan had no resistance. My local Ford dealer removed the resistor for me and it works fine now.

Pros
  • Unitary replacement unit includes fan, motor and cover for maximum replacement efficiency
Cons
  • Not bad
