THIS is the correct fan for the 2004 Dodge Dakota!

Despite what Revain and the manufacturer's application notes state, this is the correct fan for the 2004 Dakota and NOT the listed TYC 700008 which is physically different. The center fan is original, the fan on the left is TYC 700008 which is listed as the correct fan but does NOT physically match. The fan on the right is TYC 700071 which fits perfectly. This fan is a perfect match for the 2004 model and the connectors match. It works well. I spent more time getting the correct fan and sending

They can't all be good, dammit.

Not everyone can be a winner. I got this and installed it in my 2002 Dodge Durango and also installed a new resistor. I don't drive much and after four uses it suddenly stopped. Not knowing if it was the fan or the resistor, I checked the resistor first and everything was fine. I then took the test leads off the charger and hooked it up to the fan to try and get it working. NO luck so I only got full use of this fan for about an hour. I was lucky I still had my old noisy fan and put it back onโ€ฆ

OEM replacement for a small fee!

Bought for my 2003 Dodge Durango SXT. The fan lost speed 3 and 4 on the fan leaving me at 1 and 2 (it takes forever to defrost and warm up the car). I found this funny little problem thanks to a Dodge forum I found. Blown fan motor resistor. I kept replacing them and they kept burning out, but while they were working 3 and 4 came back, then I lost 4 and finally 3 (within a month of a clean install). The solution was to buy a new wiring harness kit, get another new fan motor resistor and replace

Worked fine, no problems installing

Installation didn't cause any problems, except that you had to be a third-hand acrobat to make it "easy". This unit weighs a little less than the OEM released version, but I don't expect it to make much of a difference in terms of quality or durability. I also changed the fan resistor. Once the resistor fails, you can assume the fan has reached the end of its life. The old one's fan was definitely not spinning freely, but to find out you need to remove the fan, and if you've gotten this far you
