Better Than OEM: Heater

Great OEM Fan Motor Replacement. Includes an updated design where the blower is positioned to remove stresses from the wiring which was the suspected cause of the factory blower failure.

Fits well, works well, had to buy an extra hose

Fits well, works well and the A/C is like new. I recommend ordering with hose. The hose from my old fan did not fit this fan motor. I got it working after buying a piece of tubing from auto parts.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I won't comment

Fits perfectly. Engine cooling and air conditioning

Perfect for my son's Acura TL. The installation was three screws and I had to replace the plug. He left when the resistance left and then took the fan with him. So check all the details in the line. If the connector looks burned or brittle, replace it. It's cheap and easy. And if you don't, you can buy another resistor or fan motor and still have to make a connector.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect for Acura TL 03

Much cheaper than the original part but seems great quality. My wife's Acura TL 03 had bad fan noise, so I went in search of a replacement part. After finding a $200 Acura part, I decided to look for alternatives. This one fits perfectly and works perfectly. Ultra easy installation. three screws under the glove box - without dismantling the dashboard.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Unreliable

My wallet is glad I did this repair myself

This unit is not a genuine Acura part or part, but it is an exact replacement and works great. The original took 13 years to fail [loud rumble in fan bearing]. This one costs 2/3 of an Acura part [on Revain] and 25% of an Acura part when bought from a retailer. If this replacement doesn't last as long as the Acura part, it should still outlive me, so what's the deal!

Relatively simple installation

This device was intended to replace the original (due to bearing damage). To free up the space needed to remove the old unit and install the new unit, you must first remove the right front rocker plastic panel and then the right front panel cover. The hardest part was removing the kick panel cover without breaking the top anchor tab. You have to bypass various wiring harnesses to uninstall/reinstall them. The fit was perfect. So far so good (no more bearing noise) and this unit comes with the…

Delivers about 2 times less air than the OEM fan

This fan has been installed in my Acura TL for 1.5 years. Installation went well - a little cramped to access the car - but everything connects and fits so it felt good. The price is also good compared to OEM parts. The reason for the 2 stars is that this fan is definitely less efficient than the OEM. I noticed it right away but thought it didn't matter much. This is true most of the year - the big problem comes in the winter when you need de-icer to clean your windshield. it takes much longer…
