Review on TYC 700113 Replacement Blower Assembly by Jeff Dabney

This fan has been installed in my Acura TL for 1.5 years. Installation went well - a little cramped to access the car - but everything connects and fits so it felt good. The price is also good compared to OEM parts. The reason for the 2 stars is that this fan is definitely less efficient than the OEM. I noticed it right away but thought it didn't matter much. This is true most of the year - the big problem comes in the winter when you need de-icer to clean your windshield. it takes much longer because the fan power is lower. Even with the defroster ON ONLY (no top or bottom vents) and the fan running HIGH, the amount of air it expels is still fairly limited and it takes twice as long to clear the windshield.
