🔧 TYC 700172 Scion Replacement Blower Assembly: Superior Quality for Optimal Performance Review

Purchased for 2004 Toyota Scion xA. This unit came in a reasonably sized box with a piece of padding over it to prevent movement. This device is fully functional with our car.

Easy installation thanks to YouTube video. If necessary, he goes to the car and switches the air conditioning on again. Great buy and price. It would be nice if instructions were included as there weren't any in the box. It was shipped as expected.

I replaced this item in my 2006 Scion XB. I watched YouTube videos to figure out which screws and bolts to remove. After it was disassembled, it was much easier to put together. The product works great, I had no problems with cooling or heating. It was cheaper than AutoZone.

My original fan failed on Sunday and the weather was over 40 degrees and had to be purchased. Received yesterday, installed and works great! Installation took less than 2 hours thanks to some YouTube videos. I almost bought it from AutoZone but thought the wait was worth the $30 saving. Now I'm forecasting 108 for today with good air conditioning in the car cool.

I bought this item after buying two others and returning them locally. The first had a well engineered metal frame, but it didn't fit well and didn't have proper airflow channels. The second was somewhat similar to the original but of very poor quality and had a broken fan and motor housing! This fan is well packaged and as good as original Toyota/Scion quality. The fan on my Scion XB started to fail so I decided to replace it myself. Using Youtube and other websites made me feel safe. I was a bit misleading when I read that I had to remove my dash and couldn't access from below. This turned out to be wrong. I had to remove the email box, then I had access from below. Good part identification system, I was sure I got the right part. Works for 2 weeks. Allowed me to save some DIY money.
