Great price and easy installation!

What a great price! The fit is notorious for fan motor and drag issues. I've already replaced this entire assembly and it failed again. I'm so happy I can now buy parts and replace them myself for a fraction of what they charge me in the store. Watch the YouTube video to learn how to install if you're not a mechanic (like me).

Not working properly after 2 years

Update: Motor lubricated, a few drops of fine turbine oil. I'm pretty sure a 3 in 1 household oil would be the same. Anyway, I had no problems for a month. I will give up to 4 stars but the manufacturer needs to verify how the oil behaves in this part. After 2 years, this is the only reliable part of the time. Sometimes I have to tap the bottom of the glove box to make it work. My guess is that it gets stuck somehow and is difficult to dislodge. I can try lubricating it before replacing it…

Perfect fit for 2010 Honda Fit Sport

So far it works as good as OEM. The problem was that none of the fan speeds worked so I just swapped out the fan. If your fan only runs at low and high frequencies, it's a good idea to swap out both the fan and the resistor so the resistor doesn't fail again. Like all the others, it's held on by just 3 screws. Simply remove the glove box base panel. held by the clips, disconnect the cable and then remove the 3 torx screws. Hopefully it will last as long as the original part which lasted 8…

Cheap, works but fails over time

Well I've driven 3 or 4 of these over 270,000 miles. They all live a year or two and then die. The final fan motor has decided to give up its bearings and seize up while driving (while driving through a hot desert), melting and burning the connector (which, by the way, you can't buy separately, you have to buy an $800 wiring harness ). from Honda). ). So yes, with heavy use just plan to replace them once a year. IDK why Honda can build a petrol engine that just keeps running but can't build a…

Simple part, easy to replace

After about 2 hours (50 km), my fan resistor and motor were only running at level four like everyone else (see also TSB 09-097). A noticeable harsh buzz around 1.9 kHz. R&R is easy with the glove box removed and the resistor disconnected if you have a 20" P2. Unplug from below if you cannot reach the glove box. Or bend down and work with short ones from below. The fan motor is lowered after removing 3x T25. Interestingly, others have T20 bolts. The back of the motor can be opened or snapped…

The product is of excellent quality and serves its purpose!

My 2011 Honda Fit Sport air conditioner makes a funny noise for a month and then one day on fan speeds 1, 2 and 3 it won't turn on. I searched this question on YouTube. and some nice people have already posted tutorials on it. So I bought a fan resistor and a fan motor (this one) and replaced both of them myself. You really can do it yourself and you'll save at least $100. This engine is working well so far. The resistor and motor had prime shipping (need to get this fixed ASAP) which is the…

Perfect fit for my 2010 Honda Fit

Vehicle: 2010 Honda Fit. Based on online reviews and searches (google search results including forums and youtube) I purchased this (TYC 700247 Honda Fit Replacement Fan Motor) along with Wells JA1788 HVAC Fan Motor Resistor and FRAM CF11182 Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter to eliminate running fan motor only . at high (4) and does not work at speeds 1-3. All 3 items fit perfectly. The exchange took less than an hour. They work great. It required a short Phillips screwdriver to replace the…
