Excellent Heater Core Replacement

This product is a must-have for any Automotive enthusiast out there. It's easy to install and provides long-lasting results. The quality build ensures that the product is durable and could withstand wear and tear for years. The downside of this product is that it may seem a bit pricey but it definitely is worth the investment.

Pros
  • Easy to install and fits perfectly as a replacement for the original heater core.
Cons
  • Some customers reported that the product began leaking after a few months of use.

Perfect fit for 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix

Corresponds fully to the original. The existing hoses were difficult to remove after all these years. Turns out it's easier to just saw off the hoses. The heater hoses had enough slack to easily connect to the new heater core.

Pros
  • Heater
Cons
  • Requires socket

Shame on you TYC, bad fit!

I ordered part number 96051 for my 98 Grand Prix GTP but it doesn't fit. There are 2 problems. In my photos, right is OEM, left is TYC 1.) The radius of the end caps doesn't match the size of the heater box. Yes, it seems to fit, but it's not right. The heater core is approximately 3/8 inch from a proper seat in the groove. 2) The core has top and bottom rails to fit securely in the heater box. These rods are shorter and wider on this core, which also causes installation problems. I believe you
