Review on 🔥 TYC 96051 Heater Core Replacement: Premium Quality and Exceptional Performance by Jeremy Yuusuf

I ordered part number 96051 for my 98 Grand Prix GTP but it doesn't fit. There are 2 problems. In my photos, right is OEM, left is TYC 1.) The radius of the end caps doesn't match the size of the heater box. Yes, it seems to fit, but it's not right. The heater core is approximately 3/8 inch from a proper seat in the groove. 2) The core has top and bottom rails to fit securely in the heater box. These rods are shorter and wider on this core, which also causes installation problems. I believe you will have this problem on any GM vehicle using this part number. DO NOT BUY I had to run to my local parts store late at night to get a part that would fit properly. I used the SPECTRA PREMIUM part and had no problems. Fits like OEM. TYC needs to come together. I will update this when TYC contacts me and update this part with the correct dimensions.
